OUR OPINION ABOUT "NEWS"

We find that most news programs these days color the actual news (FACTS) with their own opinions. The words used to relate the news can color the actual news as bad or good.

For example:

NEWS: On Twitter Donald J. Trump posted "Democrats are smiling in D.C. that the Freedom Caucus, with the help of Club For Growth and Heritage have saved Planned Parenthood & Ocare!" Posted on 03.26.17

It is a fact that it was posted, and it can be verified as a fact that is posted. Who posted it, it is assumed it is Donald J. Trump, but would need to be verified to be deemed a fact.

What is said in the Twitter posting is an OPINION. It isn't verified fact. "Democrats are smiling" may or may not be true. Who is responsible for saving Planned Parenthood and Ocare is a matter of OPINION. You could also say that the responsibility lies with those who created a bill that wasn't completely thought out and did not do what was promised (everybody having healthcare) ... that is also an OPINION.

Any other statements as to why it is posted, or what it means, is OPINION. The news may give reactions to the statement that would be fact if verified.
